Former Carlisle professional Justin Greaves has helped the West Indies to a famous victory in Australia.
The tourists squared the two-match Test series in Brisbane by winning a thriller by just eight runs.
It was the West Indies first win in a Test Down Under since 1997.
Although Steve Smith carried his bat for 91no but Shamar Joseph, in only his second Test took 7-68 to bowl his side to victory.
It was the first time they had beaten them, anywhere in the world, since 2003.
Greaves, 29, played his part with a top Test score of 33, the important wicket of Manus Labuschange and a catch to remove Mitchell Marsh.
The Barbadian had made his Test debut at Adelaide when Australia cruised to a ten-wicket win.
He was professional with Carlisle in 2015 and 2017 and made his one-day debut for the West Indies in 2022.
With the rest of his team-mates he will be looking to follow-up the Test success with victories in three one-day internationals and three T20s which will complete the tour.
