Workington speedway fans were delighted to hear last week that local favourite Dan Bewley will be riding in the opening meeting at Northside.
Bewley is a confirmed rider for the popular Ben Fund Bonanza which launches the 2024 season on March 16.
Cumbria Crack’s John Walsh caught up with the 24-year-old Maryport rider for a review of his upcoming season – and how it all started for him with bikes.
The reigning British champion, and a three-times Grand Prix event winner, was jetting-off to Poland later in the day for a catch up with connections over there.
He will be riding in Britain, Poland and Sweden in club racing and as well as the Grand Prix series, and he reckons he will have a potential 80 meetings in eight months.
