Caledonia Park’s Comic-Con takeover is returning to the designer outlet.

After the success of last year’s takeover – organisers are promising an even bigger and better array of comic-themed activities and attractions in collaboration with Big Glasgow Comic Page Comic-Con

Taking place on February 10 to February 12 from 10am to 5pm the takeover promises a journey into the world of superheroes and villains with exhibits, interactive displays, and more.

Ian Bonar from BGCP Comic-Con said: “BGCP Comic Con are all hyped up to be returning to Caledonia Park for a second year which is set to be even more exciting than last year’s debut event with new traders, superheroes and cars.

“Last year saw people travel from all over the borders, Carlisle, Newcastle, Glasgow and Edinburgh so we’re hoping to see lots of returning faces as well as lots of new ones.”

The takeover will also feature an impressive line-up of artists, showcasing their talent and offering exclusive comic creations.

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore a wide variety of products including toys, merchandise, cards, crafts, and one-of-a-kind collectables.

Iconic characters including Spiderman, Venom, Deadpool, Batman, Sonic & Knuckles, and Bluey will be on-site for meet and greets.

Fan-favourite vehicles such as the Batman v’s Superman Batmobile and the Ghostbuster Ectomobile will also be on display. For the younger attendees, free face painting will be available.

Caledonia Park centre director, Scott Wells, said: “The Comic-Con takeover at Caledonia Park Designer Outlet has become a highly anticipated event in the region.

“We are thrilled to bring this fantastic experience back, providing a platform for fans of all ages to immerse themselves in the world of comics.”

Admission to the Comic-Con takeover is completely free.
