Bransty Rangers travelled to the County Ground to play Whitehaven AFC Reserves on Tuesday night in a rare midweek game in the Cumberland County League Division One that was packed with goals.
Carl Denver opened the scoring after hitting home for Whitehaven a few minutes before half time.
The second half was when the goals really started flowing and Liam O’Pray equalised for Bransty on the 48th minute for his 11th in the league this season.
Denver scored once again on the hour mark to restore Whitehaven lead only for Alan Sim to equalise for Bransty after 65 minutes to make it 2-2.
On the 75th minute, Luke Blaney scored Haven’s third of the evening and some might of thought that was the winner.
However, Bransty weren’t finished scoring and Chris Armstrong fired in the sixth goal of the game in the 89th minute to make it 3-3 and the points shared in a thrilling encounter.
