Four young Cumbrian boxers are taking part for a prestigious championship.
Elliot Murray, 15, Alfie Govans, 16, Leon Emerson, 15 and Marshall Miller, 14, have qualified for the 2024 England Boxing National Championships.
The youngsters are part of Workington Amateur Boxing Club and are taking part in the championships through their determination and hard work – they have to continually box to have the required amount of bouts in the required age and weight categories and face any other boxers in the UK in an open class tournament.
Workington Amateur Boxing Club said: ” The club are proud to have these individuals as part of the ever evolving squad.”
