A man will appear in court next month following a Carlisle burglary and assault.
The incident happened at a property in Shaddongate on February 24.
Marc Austin, 33, of Dobinson Road, Carlisle, appeared at the city’s magistrates court today, Monday February 26, and was charged with burglary dwelling with intent to steal, criminal damage and assault by beating.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Carlisle Crown Court on March 25.
