The West Cumbria Amalgamation will be holding a Pigeon Moot tomorrow night at Harrington Boating club.

Top fanciers from the North East will be on the panel while the Amalgamation’s 2023 prizes will be handed out.

In addition a number of squeakers, bred from the best lofts in the Amalgamation, will be up for auction.

Dave Maddison from Hartlepool is one half of the I and D Maddison partnership who won seven Federation races last season. The loft is also famous for breeding the super pigeon Wayside Emperor.

Andrew Naylor, part of the Naylor, son and Richardson partnership from Seaham, will also be a panel member. The loft is one of the best in section 4 of the Up North Combine with multiple Federation and section wins.

Kevin Winter, a regular visitor to these annual get-togethers, will chair the moot which is expected to attract strong support from the pigeon racing fraternity.

It all gets underway at 7pm with entry priced at £5 on the door, which includes a buffet.
