Australian youngster Tate Zischke has arrived in Workington eager to get started on his Comets career.
Zischke has wasted no time in getting used to the track and since his first look has had several spins round.
It hasn’t just been on his bike, either, as he has also had a go in a rally car.
The West Cumbria Motor Club were holding an Autotest at Northside and Tate took up the chance of a completing a round in one of the rally cars.
He will be joining the other Comets for the press and practice at the Northside track noon on Saturday, March 23.
Track photographer Dave Payne, who met up with Tate for the first time in Australia recently, was there to take some action shots of his bike practice – and also his effort in a rally car.
There was also the official welcome picture with promoter Andrew Bain and team manager James Denham.
