Man significantly injured in Silloth incident

A man has been significantly injured in an incident in Silloth.

Three men, aged 28, 25 and 20, have been arrested after the incident which happened between 11.45pm on March 28 and 2.30am on March 29 in the areas of Skinburness Road and Criffel Street.

The men have been arrested on suspicion of burglary, criminal damage and possession of an offensive weapon.

The 20-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.

All have been released on police bail.

The victim in the case, a 32-year-old man, has received significant injuries during the incident and has been treated in hospital.

A number of vehicles have been involved in the incident including a black VW Passat and a white Seat Ibiza.

Police are asking anyone who lives in the areas of Skinburness Road, Criffel Street, and surrounding streets or the B5302 around Causewayhead to check any CCTV, dashcam or doorbell camera footage you have, which may show these vehicles, in order to assist officers with their investigation.

Police are also asking that any members of the public who live or were in these areas listed above and have witnessed the incident or have any knowledge of it, please make contact.
