Carlisle United say they are investigating an incident which involved some of their first team players away from the club.
It is now the subject of an ongoing disciplinary procedure and the club says it will be making no further comment.
Manager Paul Simpson said: “We take these issues seriously and it is being dealt with internally by the club.
“Our focus is on working professionally as we look towards another important game at the weekend and we will make no further comment.”
United have said that following Monday’s game against Lincoln City, the club became aware of an incident on Saturday night involving some first team players.
