Vimto Original is being recalled because it has been mislabelled.

The 500ml bottles have been labelled as no added sugar, but do in fact contain added sugar.

It makes the product a potential risk to consumers who need to manage their sugar intake.

The following products are affected:

  • ‘Love The Taste’ Promotional Pack versions of Vimto Original 500ml – batch numbers 4051, 4052. Best before October 2024
  • ‘Love The Taste’ Promotional Pack versions of Vimto Original 500ml – batch numbers 4073, 4074. Best before November 2024
  • ‘Love The Taste’ Promotional Pack versions of Vimto Original £1.25 Price Marked Pack 500ml – batch numbers 4050, 4051. Best before October 2024
  • ‘Love The Taste’ Promotional Pack versions of Vimto Original £1.25 Price Marked Pack 500ml – batch numbers 4072, 4073. Best before November 2024

Point of sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that are selling these products. The notices explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the products.
