
Two Cumbrian venues have reached the final of prestigious tourism awards.
The Yan at Broadrayne and Allium at Askham Hall have been revealed on the shortlists for the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence.
The awards for Excellence champion the very best of England’s tourism industry celebrating quality, innovation, best practice and exceptional customer service.
The 48 finalists, announced following a rigorous judging process by handpicked tourism industry experts, now go on to compete in 16 categories at the national awards.
The Yan at Broadrayne has been nominated in the Ethical, Responsible and Sustainable Tourism category.
Allium at Askham Hall is a finalist for the Taste of England Award.
The winners will be revealed on June 5 at a ceremony in Liverpool.
