A man has been arrested after an incident of indecent exposure in Carlisle city centre.
Between 6pm and 6.15pm on Saturday, May 25, a man reportedly exposed his genitals in White Horse Lane, which runs between Blackfriars Street and English Street.
Police would like to speak to a woman who may be a potential witness. She is described as having brown curly hair, wearing a black dress, black leggings and carrying a brown shoulder bag.
The suspect is described as being a white man, in his mid-20s, around 6ft, of a stocky build and dark short hair. He was wearing a blue sports T-shirt, black bottoms and trainers.
A 26-year-old man, of Preston, was arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure and has since been bailed pending further enquires.
Police said if anyone encounters an offence of this nature, they should contact them as soon as possible, move to a safe public space and not engage with the individual.
