A 34-year-old woman has been arrested after a man was hit in the face with a bottle.
Police are investigating the incident which happened at around 8.50am on Friday, May 31 on Nelson Bridge, Victoria Viaduct, Carlisle.
It involved a man and a woman and it is alleged the man suffered facial injuries.
The man was described as black and was wearing a navy tracksuit and the woman is described as white and wearing dark clothing.
The 34-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and released on police bail.
