Cumbria have selected three young debutants for the final group game in the NCCA One Day Trophy against Lincolnshire at Bourne tomorrow.

Eighteen-year-olds Josh Brown (Cockermouth) and Sam Bates (Workington) were both on the Cumbria Cricket Under-18s pre-season tour of Sri Lanka.

Netherfield’s Reece Irving, who was 19 last Sunday, is also selected for the first time. All three have played for the county Development side in recent years.

Although currently bottom of the group Cumbria can still go through if they win and get the right result in the other game between Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.

Cumbria: Matthew Sempill (Cockermouth, capt), Sam Bates (Workington, wk), Josh Brown (Cockermouth), Greg Cameron (Keswick), Sam Dutton (Kendal), Freddie Fallows (Kendal), Will Fraine (York), Reece Irving (Netherfield), Ed Moulton (Chorley), Sam Sharp (Kendal), Nico Watt (Carlisle).
