The Falls Spa team with their Best Destination Spa award

A Lake District spa has won a national award.

The family-owned Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa, near Keswick, has been named Best Destination Spa at the 2024 Good Spa Guide Awards.

The 15th annual Good Spa Guide Awards celebrated excellence within the UK spa industry, highlighting the vital role spas play in supporting health and wellbeing.

The Best Destination Spa category saw the Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa up against 10 other top-tier spa hotels from across the nation.

Last year, the spa was awarded Best Spa Garden and has previously won Best Countryside Getaway in 2021. It was also a finalist for Best New Spa in 2019, shortly after its grand opening.

Cara Thompson, the Falls spa manager, said: “We are deeply honoured to be named the Best Destination Spa; the third award we have won as part of the annual Good Spa Guide Award series.

“Our goal is to offer an unparalleled spa experience to our guests and this recognition affirms our unwavering commitment to excellence.”

Nestled in the heart of the Borrowdale Valley, The Falls Spa features a 16m infinity edge vitality pool with fountains, underwater loungers, and an overflow hot tub, all offering spectacular vistas of Derwentwater and the Catbells mountain range.

The Good Spa Guide Awards are a beacon of excellence in the UK spa industry, acknowledging the outstanding contributions of spas across the UK.
