People have been banned from visiting a Penrith house for 48 hours after prolonged anti-social behaviour.

Eden Police said officers from the neighbourhood policing team had served a closure notice on the house on Eden Mount today, Monday July 1.

It said it followed prolonged and extensive anti-social behaviour and means that for the next 48 hours, only the tenant can remain on the property.

Anybody else entering the property will be liable to arrest and prosecution.

Eden Police added: “Officers are now seeking a full closure order on the property at magistrates court, which if approved, will see a complete closure on the property for up to three months.”
