Heavy traffic is being reported after two HGVs collided on the A66.
The road was blocked both ways between Appleby and Brough from the A685 to the Warcop turn-off.
Emergency services attended the scene. No injuries were reported.
The road reopened at around 11.10am but police said drivers should be aware the road will need to be cleared and swept.
