Penrith dropped Northern League points for the first time in the new season when they were beaten 3-2 at North Shields last night.
But it was an agonising defeat to take as the Cumbrians were leading 2-1 in the 86th minute after a goal from Connor Shields.
Within a minute Shields had equalised with a 20-yard screamer from their man of the match Ryan Carr.
Then in the fifth and final minute of time added on Lee Mason grabbed the winner to give the hosts their first league win after two draws.
Penrith had scored the opening goal in the 37th minute, a well taken finish by Robbie Hebson after a quick counter-attack.
They held that lead until the first minute of time added on when Carr lashed in another fine shot from the edge of the area.
Penrith are at home on Saturday to a Tow Low who are bottom of the league without a point after three games.
