
The Komatsu Ability Counts League Cup Finals involved 12 teams competing across four ability banded divisions.
Since the season kicked off in April, over 100 players have participated in regular fixtures at Harraby 3G, Carlisle.
The atmosphere at these monthly events has been vibrant and welcoming, offering a fun and safe environment for both players and volunteers.
With four pitches hosting the matches, the evening was filled with exciting football, showcasing impressive skills as teams vied for the title of 2024 League Cup Champions. The victorious teams were honoured with trophies and medals, presented by Ray Sempill, Cumberland ACL secretary.
There are two more events left on the 2024 Adult Ability Counts league calender. The league will be concluded in September and the annual Denton Memorials Cup in October.

The 2024 League Cup winners were: Premiership Cup: Carlisle Spartans Unique Ability; Championship 1 Cup: Carlisle Reivers Cheetahs; Championship 2 Cup: Carlisle Spartans Spears.
Workington AFC were presented with the Values Shield for displaying the best conduct in relation to the league values on the evening.
The Komatsu ACL gave special thanks to the staff at Harraby 3G who have helped to provide a fantastic venue for the monthly league fixtures this season and to sponsors – Komatsu Forest Ltd.

The league, which began in 2012. has provided players from across Cumbria the opportunity to play regular football in a friendly and safe environment.
The support from the volunteers has ensured The Cumberland Ability Counts League has run smoothly throughout the season.
