A driver was taken to hospital after a collision near the A595 in West Cumbria.
Police were called at around 6.30am, today August 15, to the two-vehicle road traffic collision on Winscales Road, off the A595 near Workington.
The collision involved a grey BMW and blue VW van.
The driver of the van was taken to Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle with non-life-threatening injuries.
Cumbria Crack was told the A595 was closed for a time while emergency services were at the scene.
