A seriously injured sheep has been put down after a dog attack.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the incident happened at around 1pm on Saturday August 10 at the back of Heversham Church, near Milnthorpe.
The dog involved was described as a large black terrier-type dog. The sheep suffered serious injuries.
