A Lake District road is closed after flooding.
Under Loughrigg Road in Ambleside is closed to all traffic.
Westmorland & Furness Council said it was thought the flooding was caused by a damaged culvert.
It said: “Our crews have attended and have jetted the gulley on numerous occasions, however this has been unable to clear due to suspected damage that will require further investigation and work when the water level lowers.
“We appreciate that this closure will cause an inconvenience, but this is in place for your safety. Please do not attempt to drive through, it is deeper than it looks.”
