A Lancaster will fly over the Lake District this week.
The Lancaster – one of only two remaining flying examples in the world – is flying over the county on Friday.
Part of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, the Second World War-era bomber is due to have its wings over Windermere between 5.47pm and 6.17pm.
The Lancaster only took to the skies for the first time this year in July.
It has undergone extensive pre-planned maintenance, including the manufacture and replacement of the entire tail plane last winter.
Following extensive inspections and testing, the Lancaster is able to fly again.
Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Spitfire and Hurricane flying remains paused while an investigation into the tragic Spitfire incident continues.
Flypasts can be cancelled or times changed at short notice due to poor weather or other requirements.
