Organisers of the 2025 Love Barrow Awards say they have had hundreds of nominations sent in – and there is still time to submit yours.
The nomination window for the Love Barrow Awards 2025 is set to close in the coming days with nearly 800 community heroes on the road to a night they won’t forget!
The 2025 Love Barrow Awards will celebrate 20 years since the awards commenced, which recognises local people and community groups that go the extra mile to help and support others from the Furness and South Lakes area.
Nominations in eight categories opened on June 24 and will close on Friday September 13.
In the following weeks the Love Barrow Committee will review all nominations and judge them, with the 24 finalists announced in early November. The awards evening will then take place at The Forum, Barrow, in March.
Chair of the Love Barrow Awards, DT Guest, said “In previous years the record number of nominations we had was over 500.
“This year we have already surpassed that number and are predicting up to 800 nominations. It is fantastic that people have taken the time to recognise others and nominate, particularly as we look to celebrate our 20th year of the awards. There is still time to get your vote in, so if you are thinking of doing so, please nominate now”.
