Fines have been handed to drivers parked illegally on roadsides near Buttermere.
Police patrolling the Buttermere and Borrowdale area reported several vehicles parked illegally on the roadside near Crummock Water.
Cars were found to be causing issues to the flow of traffic on the road and some were parked on double yellow lines.
Several vehicle owners were issued with advice and a Civil Enforcement officer attended the area to issue penalty notices to those parked on double yellow lines.
