Kendal Town will put their five-match winning run on the line on Wednesday night at Northern League leaders Boro Rangers.
The home side have won 10 of their 11 games so far and have scored 41 goals in the process.
Kendal manager Jimmy Marshall said: “Clearly it’s going to be tough, especially being away from home and in mid-week.
“But we will put together the best team we can and we go there in confident mood after five wins on the spin.
“It’s going to be a different type of game to the last two we’ve had against Tow Law and West Allotment and I’m expecting them to come at us.
“We had set our sights on six points from those last two games and although not at our best we got the job done.
“Steve Yawson’s goal to win it was worthy of winning any game and I thought Matt Dudley’s opener was also a very good goal.”
Kendal’s winning run has carried them up to ninth in the table and they now are the leading Cumbrian side with Carlisle City 12th and Penrith 13th.
On Saturday Kendal will continue on their travels breaking new ground on their switch of leagues when they visit Whitley Bay, currently 17th with just two wins from eight games.
