A cow had to be rescued after it became trapped in a ravine in north Cumbria.
Firefighters from Longtown Fire Station and Carlisle East Fire Station were called to the incident, near Roweltown, at around 11am today, Saturday, September 14.
They were accompanied by a local vet.
They rescued the animal using lifting equipment and a farm tractor.
