The top game in the West Cumberland Sunday League finished all square as Dearham and Parkside shared six goals.

It meant Dearham stay the only unbeaten side in the Premier Division, and they have already beaten reigning champions Northside.

Lewis Manchester (2) and James Langstaff scored for Dearham with Tom Sharp, Darren Little and Alfie Graham squaring it for the visitors.

Northside still lead the way, though, five points clear but from two more games than Dearham.

The champions won 5-0 at Sun Inn with goals from Tony Berwick (2), Max Litt, Tyler Harrell and Chad Grisedale.

Moresby Rangers were 6-2 winners at Bluebell as Brett Smith (2), Dan Hill, Taylor Hambling, Matt Williams and Carl Oswald found the net. Valter Fernandez and Greg Quayle replied for the Workington side.

Rather sadly the League has suffered its first casualty with FC Butchers of Maryport pulling out of the competition, leaving eight teams in the Premier Division.

In Division One Zebras still lead the way, although they were held for the second time, but remain the only unbeaten side in the League.

Senhouse Street were the team that took them all the way this time in a 2-2 draw.

Scott Underwood and Declan Moore scored for the League leaders with Gary O’Driscoll and Brian Straughton replying for Senhouse Street.

Sun Inn Athletic had a good 4-2 win at Salterbeck as Owen Fearon, Luke Gill, Brandon O’Fee and CJ Irvine were on target. Charlie Shaw and Niall Melton responded for Salterbeck.

Whitehaven AFC Development side beat Borough Miners 7-3 with Jenson Irving leading the way as he grabbed a hat-trick. Keenan Mackay (2), Daniel Hildred and Donovan McAlone supplied the other goals.

Mitchell Wood (2) and Phil Sharpe replied for the Miners.

In the other Division One game Royal Oak beat the Swan 3-2 with goals from Callum Fleming (2) and Aaron Atkinson.  Andrew Leech and Shaun Patterson kept the Swan in touch.
