Hospice at Home West Cumbria has launched a new website, designed to provide essential resources and support for patients, families, and carers through difficult times.
The charity said the site was designed to be a comprehensive platform offering information, resources and support services tailored to meet the needs of individuals facing a palliative diagnosis and their loved ones.
From guidance on how to access services, to emotional support for patients, families and carers, the website aims to help users with the information they need to navigate their journey with greater ease and comfort.
Key features of the website include:
- Information hub: Accessible and up-to-date information on hospice care, palliative support, and end of life services available in West Cumbria.
- Resources: Materials to help with grief and bereavement, including voice recordings that help relaxation and mindfulness.
- Accessibility: An easy reading section and ReciteMe plugin to ensure everyone can access the information with seamless accessibility across all devices.
- Professionals: A dedicated section for professionals looking to refer patients with downloadable referral forms.
Julie Monk, CEO of Hospice at Home West Cumbria, said: “We are thrilled to introduce our new website as part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing accessibility and support for our community.
“In times of uncertainty and difficulty, having access to reliable information and support can make all the difference. Our website serves as a valuable resource hub, offering guidance and support to individuals and families across the region.”
