Kendal Town’s Parkside Stadium was broken into this week and some property was stolen, and damage caused.
The club has reported the theft of £500-worth of essential kit and £300 of damage to club property.
In a message on social media the club said: “We encourage anyone with information to come forward.”
“These actions hurt, not just the club, but also the volunteers, players, and supporters who dedicate their time and effort to keeping Kendal Town running. We will provide updates as we get them.
“We’d also like to say a massive thank you to the Carlisle United South Cumbria Supporters Club for setting up a GoFundMe page following our break-in – and to everyone who’s donated so far. We really appreciate the support.”
Earlier today it had reached £735.
