Workington Town Ladies sealed a superb season by winning the promotion play-off final at Featherstone.
They beat Orrell St James 26-12 to add yet another trophy to the collection following their League and Plate successes.
It took only five minutes for them to take the lead when Shakayla Okesene crashed over for the opening try and give them a platform to work from.
Orrell then had one of their best spells of the contest and after 15 minutes also scored an unconverted try to draw level.
It was pretty even for much of the remainder of the half after that but Town suffered a blow when Lauren Fryer had to be stretchered off, causing a reshuffle by head coach Steve Caton and his assistant Gareth Nicholson.
Their problems intensified when St James scored their second unconverted try to lead 8-4 at the break.
But it didn’t take long for Town to get back on terms after Orrell knocked on at the start of the second-half. Good handling by the Cumbrians saw Alice Rush race through to score the equalising try.
That was the turning point and from then on Town really started to dominate their opponents. A fine link-up between Rush and Juliet Porter sent Kaitlin Jenkinson in for a try which Laura Ivison converted.
When Rush went in for her second try there was starting to be daylight between the two sides but Orrell did hit back and looked to be going in for a try when Ivison made a smart interception to break clear for Town.
When Okesene crashed over for her try the victory looked in sight, and although Orrell did score a third try Town deservedly had the final say when Sophie Price went in from close range.
