Whitehaven’s McDonald’s has reopened after a revamp.

The fast food restaurant, on Bridges Retail Park, has had a make over to become a ‘convenience of the future’ branch.

Operated by Victor and Karen Arciniega, it has had a layout redesign and new technology.

It will be open from 5am to 11pm and the drive-thru will be open from 5am to 2.30am.

Victor and Karen, who own and operate 11 McDonald’s restaurants in Lancashire and Cumbria, said:“We are proud to reinvest in our Whitehaven restaurant – especially as McDonald’s celebrates its 50th anniversary in the UK this year!

“The dining area is more contemporary, and we now have separate facilities for our dine-in customers and our couriers leading to a better experience for everyone.

“It’s exciting to see the fresh new look and feel of our Whitehaven restaurant and we are confident the changes will not only benefit our customers but also our restaurant team as it will help make their jobs a little easier.”
