Awards galore for Whitehaven cricket players

Under-11s

Whitehaven Cricket Club’s annual awards night had to be moved due to the pavilion being refurbished.

But they didn’t have to go far as the event was held in the neighbouring Rugby Union club at the Playground.

Both junior and senior awards were presented on the night with a host of trophies handed out.

Winners

Under-15

  • Batting and bowling: Harry Keeler, 12
  • All-rounder:Thomas Spires
  • Fielding: Sam Carpenter
  • Coaches’ Player of the Year: Jack Long

Under-13

  • Batting: Haydn McCourt
  • Bowling: George Spires
  • All-rounder: Ethan McCarthy
  • Fielding: Haydn McCourt
  • Coaches’ Player of the Year: Harry Keeler.

Under-11

  • Trophies presented to Ellis Dixon, Toby Dawson, Max Vaughan, Charlie Brown-Telfer, Aiden Kinsale, Harry Carpenter, Daniel Dawson, Thomas Wilkinson, Grayson Lowe, Anna Spires and Wilf Parkinson.
