
Dispersal orders were put in place for Carlisle city centre and Workington town centre last night to crack down on anti-social behaviour.
It came into force at 5pm and expired at 7am today, Friday November 1.
Carlisle police said: “This order will only affect those who intend on causing harassment, alarm or distress to any person in the specified area.

“We want you to have a safe and enjoyable Halloween night, but those who decide to engage in anti-social behaviour will be dispersed from this area for up to 48 hours. Do you know where your children are tonight?”
The dispersal order was also put in place in Workington town centre from 5pm, which expired at 7am tomorrow.

Allerdale police said: “Those who decide to engage in anti-social behaviour will be dispersed from this area for up to 48 hours. Failure to leave the area when directed may result in arrest.”
