Whitehaven have added to their 2025 squad by recruiting a young winger who has had first team experience at both Workington Town and Barrow Raiders.
He is 22-year-old Max Anderson-Moore, a product of Barrow Island who initially stepped-up to the professional game with Workington ahead of the 2023 season.
He made seven appearances for Town, scoring two tries playing in either on the wing or in the centres.
After his debut season he made the move to Craven Park last season making two appearances, scoring two tries on his debut in the Raiders 1895 cup quarter final defeat at Wakefield.
He has now re-joined Anthony Murray whom he played his first professional season under, at Workington in 2023.
After the signing Murray said: “Max will add some options in the outside backs being able to play centre and wing.
“He has some valuable experience under his belt having a year at Workington and then moving to Barrow, playing a couple of Championship games.
“I know Max now wants to cement his place and play more regular first team rugby.
“He is very committed, trains hard and will be a great asset to us at Haven.”
