A man has been arrested after racial abuse was hurled at a football player at Carlisle United’s Brunton Park.
The incident happened during the match against Wigan Athletic today, Saturday, November 2.
The arrest follows alleged racial abuse towards a Wigan Athletic player during the match.
A 37-year-old man, of Carlisle, was arrested on suspicion of racially aggravated public order. He remains in police custody.
