People are warned that bus stops will be relocated as work begins next week to resurface a Whitehaven road.
Work is due to start on Overend Road from Monday, November 11.
It will be carried out in two phases with a full road closure and is expected to last five days, weather permitting.
Work will take place Monday to Friday, from 8am to 5pm, with no weekend work planned.
Residents on Overend Road are requested to park their vehicles elsewhere during working hours. All vehicles should be moved before 8am.
Vehicle access for residents and businesses will be maintained whenever possible, but people are asked to discuss specific access needs with on-site staff.
Access for emergency service vehicles, pedestrians, and dismounted cyclists will be fully maintained.
Recycling and waste collections will not be disrupted, and information about bus stop relocations will be posted at current bus stops.
For any queries regarding bus routes, passengers are encouraged to contact Stagecoach directly.
Businesses remain open as usual throughout the work.
