Vote for Tate Zischke in British Speedway awards

Was Tate Zischke the signing of the year in the Cab Direct Championship?

Workington Comets fans have the chance to say yes as British Speedway asks all their supporters to give their opinions.

There are four categories and voting takes place across British Speedway’s social media platforms and will be open until noon on Friday, November 8.

The Championship awards are in association with Cab Direct, title sponsors of the league and KO Cup competitions.

Zischke is up against Tom Brennan, Drew Kemp and Tobias Thomsen for the award as best Championship signing.

West Cumbrian Richard Lawson is included in the quartet nominated for Rider of the Year while former Comet Luke Harrison is a contender for Young Order of the Year.

The categories and nominations are:

Championship rider of the year

  • Chris Harris
  • Richard Lawson
  • Sam Masters
  • Josh Pickering

Championship young rider of the year

  • Ashton Boughen
  • Vinnie Foord
  • Luke Harrison
  • Luke Killeen

Championship signing of the season

  • Tom Brennan
  • Drew Kemp
  • Tobias Thomsen
  • Tate Zischke

Championship most improved rider of the year

  • Nathan Ablitt
  • Paco Castagna
  • Dan Thompson
  • Joe Thompson
