Greggs has opened a new shop today in Carlisle, creating 20 new jobs for the area.
It has opened in a former GP surgery in Harraby.
The Eastern Way Surgery in Carlisle closed in 2022.
The chain bought the Harraby site in July, following an initial planning application to convert the building in June.
The Carlisle shop also features seating and will be open from 5.30am to 7pm Monday to Saturdays and 6.30am to 5pm on Sundays.
Gillian Long, retail operations director for Greggs, said: “Our new shop in Carlisle has brought 20 new jobs to the local area, as well as providing customers with a modern, convenient new place to experience their Greggs favourites.”
