A man was arrested following an assault on a Whitehaven street.
It happened at around 10.20pm on Tangier Street on Sunday, October 27.
The incident involved two men.
A man in his 50s was taken to the West Cumberland Hospital in Whitehaven, having sustained facial injuries to the left side of his face.
A58-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault and released on police bail.
Police are seeking any potential witnesses to the incident.
