A woman has died following a collision in Kendal.
Police were called at around 4.05pm to Burton Road following a report of a collision involving a HGV and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a woman in her 50s, was confirmed dead at the scene.
Officers are asking any witnesses, or anyone who has information or relevant dashcam footage, to contact them.
They are particularly keen to hear from the driver of a black Mini as a witness who was directly behind the HGV at the time of the collision.
