Cumbria will have an interest in all four levels of the National Conference next season.
They will be reduced to nine county teams, following Seaton Rangers’ decision to withdraw but they have at least one team in each division.
Wath Brow Hornets are the sole Cumbrian side participating in the Premier Division and they will be looking to improve on their fifth place finish last season.
Kells and Egremont were both relegated last season and will renew their West Cumbrian rivalry in Division One.
Cumbria’s biggest representation will be in Division Two with three teams – Ellenborough, Barrow Island and newly-promoted Hensingham.
The other two Cumbrian sides are in Division Three – relegated Millom and Distington, who led the table for most of the season and in the end missed out through play-off defeat.
There was some consolation in that Distington’s Scott George picked up the award for the Best Player in Division Three.
Keighley Albion have been voted in as a new member of the National Conference League following a meeting between clubs.
The club had been competing in the Yorkshire Men’s League and will take up a place in Division Three for the upcoming 2025 NCL season.
Albion originally came into the Conference in 1998 and played for four seasons in the competition before resigning their place.
Since then the club has built up its junior section and worked hard on establishing their own clubhouse and changing rooms at Cross Flatts with work continuing to develop their facilities.
The season will start for Premier Division and Division Two teams on March 8; Division One will kick off on March 15 and Division Three start on March 22.
Draft fixtures will be issued to the clubs later this month.
