
Paddy McGuinness is in Cumbria this week as he takes on a cycling challenge for Children in Need.
He’s attempting to cycle through three nations over five days, covering 300 miles, on a customised chopper bike.
The Ultra Endurance Cycle Challenge has seen him so far raise over £1.2 million and completed his first day on Monday, cycling from Wrexham to Preston.
He was given the news that he had raised £1 million as he reached the summit of Shap as daylight broke.
Yesterday, he set off from Preston and arrived in Kendal last night.
Day three – today, Wednesday November 13 – saw him leave Kendal for Carlisle via Penrith.
Rob Knowles caught him on his way out of Penrith this afternoon.
When he arrived in Carlisle, the children loved the high fives, said Emma Batey.
