Police are investigating an alleged road rage incident on the A592.
The incident happened in the Glencoyne Bridge area, by Ullswater, at around 3.45pm on January 23 and involved a grey BMW and yellow minibus.
Both vehicles sustained damage. There were no reported injuries.
Eden police said: “As a result of enquiries being carried out, members of the surrounding communities may have noticed a higher than usual police presence in the area.
“Officers would like to reassure local residents that the investigation is a priority and all key lines of enquiry are being followed.
Anyone with any information surrounding the incident is asked to call 101 quoting log number 141 of 23 January.
