Witnesses are being sought after a domestic assault in Carlisle.
Police are seeking people with information to come forward after the incident was reported to have happened on Warwick Road at the junction to Brunswick Street and Spencer Street at 12.10am on Sunday January 19.
A man in his thirties has been arrested and has been released on bail while further enquiries are carried out.
Officers are particularly interested in speaking with a man in his fifties, wearing a black jacket, cargo trousers and carrying a rucksack who was in the area at the time of the incident who spoke to the man and woman – or any other witnesses with information.
