What is a will?

What is the process of making a will at Bendles?

Initial appointment
During our initial appointment we would discuss your personal circumstances, your family tree, your assets and who you would like to provide for after your day.
At this stage we can suggest the different options which exist to facilitate these wishes.
Draft review
Once instructions have been agreed we then forward a draft for approval, before arranging a second appointment during which the will is finalised and signed.
Finalising your will
Once signed, the will is valid and legally binding, but we can also give you advice on when you may consider making changes to your will in the future or other documents you may wish to consider, such as Lasting Powers of Attorney.
For your convenience, we can facilitate initial instructions remotely on a case-by-case basis or offer home visits allowing you to complete the process in the comfort of your own home.
