A bakery with four shops across South Cumbria has announced it is to close with immediate effect.
Grange Bakery took to Facebook on today, Wednesday February 19, and also changed the company’s website to announce the news.
The statement said: “With great sadness we are sorry to announce the closure of all four shops of Grange Bakery with immediate effect.
“The current economic climate has been very difficult for small independent businesses like ours and despite the best efforts of our staff we simply cannot continue.
“We would like to thank all our staff for their hard work and dedication over the years.
“We would like to thank our loyal and regular customers and we are sorry that we will no longer be there for you.
“Thank you and best wishes from Grange Bakery.”
The company ran outlets in Barrow, Ulverston and Flookburgh as well as Kents Bank Road in Grange.
