A collision on the A595 in West Cumbria last night closed the road for several hours.
Copeland police said emergency services were responding to the incident between Gosforth and Holmrook at around 9.50pm yesterday, Saturday March 8.
The road was closed and remained closed at about 12.30am today, Sunday March 9. Police warned it would be closed for some time.
It appears the A595 has reopened, although no updates have been issued.
