Road closures today for Carlisle half-marathon

People are being warned of disruption in Carlisle today as the city’s half-marathon and 10k takes place.

There will be disruption between around 8.25am and noon today, Sunday March 23.

Carlisle police said: “Road closures will be in place to ensure the safety of those taking part and we’d appreciate your patience during this time.

“We will endeavour to only close roads when necessary and to reopen as soon as possible.”
